"I started this shoot hiding in my room, experimenting with how I could use my bedroom window to my advantage. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly I started feeling myself and then got really into it. Sunlight on my boobs is now a new favorite feeling after doing this shoot! When exploring the garden I nearly got caught feeling myself in the garden bed."

"I tried to have good light, so I pushed the bed to the window. I never really took many nudes before and it turned out to be harder than I thought. Often I felt like I am repeating myself in my poses, which made me try to play with different materials and shadows."

"I always enjoy hanging about on my roof. I find the direct exposure to the sky and screening from all neighbouring properties comforting and calming. It was the first place that came to mind when I was thinking about where to shoot. It's easy to access and yet completely hidden from public view. The roof forms all sorts of interesting angles which were fun to play with. I enjoyed sliding on the angled slanted sections, and appreciated the way the light bounced off the different surfaces to bathe all of my skin in sunlight. I think that lazing naked on the roof is going to become a regular activity."

"Finding a location to do the shoot proved problematic, I don't have a great deal of natural light where I live so I had to try and shoot at a friend's house. Unfortunately all of my friends live in party houses so finding a well lit room that was empty for any extended period of time was impossible. I didn't get to take enough photos in one friend's house so I had to try in another friend's and then another, pretty much every greeting to my friends was "Can I please use your house to get naked and take photos in?" Sometimes getting in to different positions can be awkward. I tried some shots with a flower in my mouth at one point and pretty much ended up eating half of it."

"I have been creative in fashion, designing houses, interior design, so why not be creative in my own naked body? I was lucky to have a partly sunshiny spring day so I was able to play with shadows and light in a creative way. I did the shoot on my upstairs balcony and opposite me is a hotel also with an outdoor area. I've hardly ever seen a person using their balcony but half way through the shoot I realised I'd been giving a free show to a young man. But it didn't stop me from continuing to shoot myself!"

"I was waiting for a warm, sunny day to complete this shoot but none really came, thanks Melbourne! I decided to do the shoot one afternoon after completing an exam at uni, a practical exam on veterinary procedures for horses. I had this kind of happy adrenaline running through me, because I knew I'd smashed the exam. So even though it was freezing cold I decided to celebrate the exam being over by doing a photoshoot! I had a lot of fun playing around with the camera, and ideas kept springing to mind. Looking back on the photos, I realised how lanky and long legged I am, which I like, and for some reason haven't really appreciated in clothed photos of myself before. I feel like the photo shoot started off as a bit of a creative process for me, that I might like to revisit and further develop at some point in the future. But eventually the post-exam adrenaline must have worn off, because I started to feel freezing cold, and realised that it was probably because I was outside with no clothes on, so I did the sensible thing and got myself a glass of red wine to warm up!"

"I had fun shooting this, although I found it hard to get the exact angles I wanted but I reckon they turned out well anyways! The biggest problem throughout the shoot was my cat trying to join in, for some reason she really likes it when I get naked and all she wants to do is cuddle me. Also, getting the right lighting is an absolute bastard!"

"This is the second shoot that I have done for I Shot Myself. Spacewise, I still had to use my apartment, because it was difficult finding an outside area that I could be alone in, but also warm! Winter, right? What a killer. I actually found this one a bit harder to do. Filming it at the same time made me a little bit more self concious and I started looking at the way my body looked from different angles a lot more. Altogether though, it was still fun, and I'm pretty happy with the way it all turned out!"

"I SHOT MYSELF. What an experience it was! On the rainy spring day I decided to get naked and put myself out there. From the first photo to the last, I noticed a big change in my confidence. I loved rolling around in the wet grass, but trying to keep the camera dry was definitely a challenge. My house mate was also doing her nude shoot so it was funny bumping into her around the house naked. Safe to say I can't wait to do another shoot on a sunny day. There is so much more I want to do and I look forward to seeing what I can come up with!"

"I wanted my folio to be about ridiculous indulgence in an everyday location. I wanted to be very pretentious with it and enjoyed myself thoroughly. My cat Zoidberg had a horrible time. In one of his half-hearted escape attempts he scratched me on my left hip, which I’m sure will add some extra class to the shoot. Also, I shot myself during a dry month, so despite posing with bottles of Pavan and martini glasses, I’m really just drinking elderflower and lingonberry cordials from Ikea."

"I think there is a lot of stigma behind darkness, and that beauty is often seen to go hand in hand with with light. I peacefully disagree with both of these ideals. The aim of my shoot is to bring beauty and darkness together without diminishing either... and I love the beach!"

"In I shot myself, I realized that it was hard to get a good pose, maybe because I have a lack of experience in modelling or I'm just not good at taking selfies. But now I can admit after I've done 150 photos, I felt proud of myself with all of my efforts to get good light or poses, also now I know it is so hard to be a model you must have to know your body well!"

The golden goddess none of us deserve returns with an impressive display of her ability to seamlessly blend art and smut, this time in celebration of one of her self-professed favourite appendages. Looking resplendent in stocking and a rosary, it would seem that Holly Wood has once again absconded with our hearts (and possibly souls) and we're intensely and immensely okay with that.

"The photo shoot was interesting to say the least. I first had to inform my land manager I would be in the garden taking naked selfies so he wouldn't catch me in the act! Then I had to figure out places and angles which was harder than I thought it would be. I almost fell off the chairs I was balancing myself on. I get pretty bad allergic reactions too so I got a few rashes from the grass or the bugs within...not too sure! But it was a good time regardless!"

"In this shoot I try to create a post-apocalyptic, eerie vibe. The weather has been very harsh recently and it makes me sick and creates a sombre mood. I channelled my inner cyborg freak to create creepy and slightly alien-inspired images. They're inspired by winter blues, and aesthetically pleasing 90s sci-fi movies. The contrast of the female body against industrial backgrounds and grey skies is very inspiring for me as a woman and artist. The vulnerability of humans to nature, and our subjugation of the environment is a major influence of this shoot. I decided to photograph my body as a living organ, immersed in artificial and natural, decaying elements."
