"I always feel most confident in the mornings straight after waking up, feeling fresh, relaxed and usually rocking some awesome bed hair. So I decided that it was at this time that I would reach for the camera and document how I looked on different mornings, whether that was bare faced, with half my make up on from the day before, or with a new pimple right in plain site. Despite my best efforts my cat managed to sneak into the shoot, but since her coming in my room to cuddle/attack me in the mornings is part of my daily routine I felt it fit and included her in some of the photos."

"I absolutely adore the outdoors and nature, very natural, just like my body. This is why "I shot myself" in a more natural environment of a local forested park. Showing off my natural body in nature's wild wilderness. In this environment I feel most confident, energetic and adventurous! Become a free spirit, join the wild, be confident, be free, be happy in your own skin."

"This shoot was done in my backyard - amongst scratchy grass and millions of ants. My cat even joined me at one point. I'm fairly sure innocent people riding their bikes on the bike path next to my yard caught a glimpse of me (a wacky naked woman), but that was part of the thrill. Hopefully the calm that I was feeling at the time translates through the images."

There's an art to making the perfect toasted sanger, and part of the trick is to remove all your clothes before you start. Don't question why, it's just one of those things. Sondrine reminds me of a Rennaissance seraphim, flitting about the landscape naked, making everything more pretty.

"The shoot was very interesting and scary at the same time. Once that towel dropped and a few shots down, I felt very comfortable in the naked form. The actual location of the shoot was on a rooftop overlooking my favourite city, which reminds me a lot of London where I live. At one point I really overcame my fear of being seen naked. The apartment complex is new and has the odd viewing, I wasn't expecting there to be a viewing so I was pretty shocked when a woman walked onto the rooftop and got more than she bargained for! I felt flustered but also proud as I conquered my fear. The rest of the shoot was trying out new angles and I found that I was at ease in my own skin."

"I really enjoyed the shoot and exploring my body in different ways. I was naked near the river checking that people were not walking along the path, however I did not not check if any one was coming along the river. Turns out it was boat practice and there were at least 50 people coming past me, I styled it out and just waved at everyone and they cheered. I also got bitten by a spider while lying in the long grass, I'm not dead yet so must not be a bad spider but what's life with out adventure!?"

"I've always been passionate about strong, jewel-bright colour, so this photoshoot was a chance for me to explore my favourite hues around the colour spectrum. I enjoyed contrasting my pale complexion against intense reds, oranges, yellows, greens, blues and purples. My second ISM shoot was just as exhilarating at the first, and I am proud to contribute to erotica that treats women of all shapes, sizes and colours with great respect."

"It was a gorgeous sunny day for this shoot, so I thought it would be so fun to get started in the garden. I loved the patchy sunlight on my skin and the feeling of the cold brick I was sitting on. Just as I was starting to get into the shoot, there was a knock on the door! It was the gardener! So I had to make a swift exit and finish off inside the house. I really enjoyed shooting in the bright light of the bathroom and the angles I could get with the help of the big bathroom mirror."

"In the process of doing this photo shoot I had to see a lot of old views about my body re-surface. I had to watch my insecurities rise and I had to let them go. In the end I was having so much fun and embracing my body. I ended up using paint to cover my body to help me embrace my lines and curves (and lack of curves, haha). This is going to sound super corny but I think this was a really good opportunity for me to see my body as art for myself rather than a sexual object for others."

"I found myself only really stuck at the beginning, and then once I had the space and time from my roommates, I flew through the photos almost entirely naturally, and was really pleased with some of the angles and images I ended up producing. Then I was able to get excited about going for a nature-walk the next morning to finish them off, although it was the photo taking process that made me realize toilet paper gets stuck on larger vagina lips far too easily, as discovered by my all too courteous partner while my foot was in his hand, bent against a bridge with only minor coverage from the most immediate passers-by."

"The (few) photos that I took on the roof were in complete public. I thought it would look cool to have the roof tops in the background, and as soon as I took off my towel and stood up I realised I was overlooking a carpark and heaps of people could see me. I ducked, and tried to hide but then thought fuck it, and quickly took some snaps. Three times I went back up there and chickened out after a bit - but posing up there was cool because a) I couldn't see anything so I wasn't able to pose like I could inside, which forced me to just be as I was and b) I was totally in public!!! I originally tried doing a shoot in my own bedroom, but I felt totally uninspired. I needed a weirder location, and I ended up shooting in my friends weird share house which is basically all these small rooms at the back of a shop. Being in a dirtier and more grungy room than my own made me feel sort of cool and really helped me get out of my shell."

"Jeeesus was this shoot difficult!! I had to be awake during the DAY?? (whut) I had to clean my room! (Which involved pushing all the debris to a corner away from the camera). I cut my arse on a stray piece of wine glass on the floor... (so much blood). But despite that, here I am, resplendent, like a naked DaVincian Madonna, but more spread eagle."

"I wanted to make the most of the beautiful purple flowers in my garden before they get ripped up and turned into a little herb garden. I had fun, it was a beautiful day."

"This video puts the 'myself' into 'ishotmyself', on a very 'myself' day. I had the house to myself. No work, no engagements, the day to myself. So I danced ,with myself, played with myself, and by shooting in my bedroom, my personal space, shared myself, pieces of myself arranged around the room, for myself. I hope you love me as much as I love myself ... "

"Before the shoot, I had some ideas to cover myself with glitter and lather up with my favourite soap. During the process, my favourite gold eyeshadow smashed, and I didn't want to waste it, so I used the spillage on myself and from there it escalated to drawing hearts on my legs with my lipsticks, and soon everywhere else! I had a lot of fun playing around with my makeup in different ways, and taking the nude photos was an exciting experience. I love that the movement empowers women and celebrates body diversity/positive self image."
