"I've never really taken 'selfies' on my phone like most girls - let alone nude ones! This was a project for me to complete not only for my body confidence but also to dip my toe into an experience I've always wanted to try. It was actually a lot more challenging than I expected - now I see why girls take 1000 photos for just one selfie!"

"I never envisioned when I was younger that I would still be posing naked at age 50. But I will be. At 49 I am feeling the best I have ever felt. I feel I can be myself with less anxiety about being judged. I actually feel more attractive than I ever have, being young is over rated. Personally I've had so many hang ups. I thought I was ugly and was always worrying about what 'they' think of me. Because of this I used to hide behind drugs and alcohol which I have stopped doing and this has made me so much stronger as a person. I expect to be in even better shape by the time I am 50 and I'm really looking forward to that!"

"I decided to shoot myself in order to be part of a project that I believe is aimed at reducing the deeply ingrained stigma attached to women who are comfortable with their own sexuality. To contribute to empowering bodily autonomy of the female identifying form and take the power out of the hands of those who perpetuate sexist reproductions of woman identifying bodies which so often leads to violence against women in both visible and invisible attitudes."

"This folio captures three masturbation sessions or sexual encounters with myself, trying to capture seductiveness and pleasure that I experience on the discovery of my own bodily sensations. In the three moments I am in front of a mirror, engaged with my image as if it was the one of a lover. One of them is a striptease for myself. The space is my bed (with red and pink color sheets) and my favorite reading chair."

"Der Shoot hat mir sehr viel Spass gemacht und mein Freund Betty_R. Ich bin aus meiner Komforzone ausgetreten und habe mich offen der Welt presentiert, was sich befreien fande. Ich war an verscheiden wundervollen Plaetzen die mich noch mehr inspiriert haben. / The shoot was a lot of fun for me and my friend Betty_R. I have stepped out of my comfort zone and have been openly exposed to the world, which I found liberating. I was on different sides of the wonderful places that inspired me even more."

"As this was the second time I was doing a shoot for ISM I was worried that I was just going to repeat myself and all the photos would just end up being the same! I really wanted to change the location and go somewhere in a forest, but unfortunately I couldn't guarantee safe/non-interrupted access to anywhere, and didn't have anyone to stand guard for me - so I made do with a small apartment balcony with pot plants for friends! This meant I was kinda ducking under the level of the railing the whole time so as not to be spotted by people outside hahaha...creative angles and some risky dives ensued. If I get the opportunity again, I would love to explore the relationship between our bodies and nature with a forest shoot :)"

"In the freezing cold on a waterfall I stripped off. I took the grapefruit and made it rain. I took the pomegranate and made it ink. My body soaked up both of these very femme erotic pieces of nature. I reveled in the opportunity to be ugly, and dominant and silly all at once. I was feeling tired and not so fresh about my body that day but once the cold calmed down a bit and I twisted on the rocks it became something to be behold, once again."

"I saw this shoot as a challenge to make myself feel comfortable with my body in every different angle. NAKED. It was so funny to do this. At first I wanted to draw and put glitter all over my body to make it look more like art, but then I changed my mind and realized that my body without glitter and colours on it, is art by itself."

"This shoot was a whole lot of fun. I have a real passion for painting so I figured - Why don't I become the art? I love my body, I love my curves, I love being silly. This was a great opportunity to let go and feel free. I wrote "Love yourself" on my body to serve as a reminder that self love is most important, and I made a promise to myself that I was to love myself unconditionally for the rest of my life. I initially came into the ISM project with long hair, but postponed my shoot until I cut all of my hair off. I have never felt more feminine and empowered in my life. Feelin' free, feelin' sexy!"

"Shooting myself naked was a lot different than I expected. I ended up really enjoying myself and seeing my body in a new and beautiful way."

"It's my dream to have a place of my own in the middle of nowhere, I feel so creative in a place like this and all I want to do is take naked photos of myself and other people. I just want to be naked all the time out in the woods."

"For this shoot I just wanted to have fun and be creative. I had a brainstorm and gathered a bunch of supplies and just went for it. I played with the "no idea is a bad idea" theory and tried things I never thought I would! My favourite was the multiple mirrors and the glad wrap, I just loved the feel of it. When I first got down in the garden to start shooting in my back yard, I actually sat my bare ass square in my dog's poop, so I had to take a shower and start all over again! After that everything felt like it fell into place, I had my bad bitch playlist going, with plenty of coffee and cone breaks to let my creative energy fly! I hope this amazes you as much as it amazed me when I first looked back at the photos, it really was my creative vision come to life!"

"I finally got to shoot another portfolio, this time in my new home and out in the forest. I felt like a little fox rolling around in the grass, and like a deer on alert at the risk of being caught. I enjoyed using the hands-free method the most as it gave me some more freedom to pose myself in each frame, so cool! This portfolio felt very much like me, very human, and a lot more intimate."

"I like so much to participate in this fabulous experience. To have been able to take time to explore a universe which looks like me has felt erotic and artistic. It was a pleasure to discover my other side, and it has made me feel beautiful...Thank you ISM!"

"My folio was really fun to shoot, I had my favourite playlist going, incense burning, and all of the blinds open in the kitchen/dining area of my house. All of that combined to create an environment where I felt safe, sexy and playful. I played around with camera angles and weird positions to create what I hope are interesting images. I really enjoyed the confidence and freedom it gave me to be unapologetically naked in a shared space of my house."
