"My photoshoot felt great! It was a free feeling where I could express myself without any clothes on, haha. I was my own director which I really loved and could express myself in pretty much any way I wanted ;) In the past where I've posed for consolidated men's interest magazines it was more restricted in many ways, ishotmyself is more natural and "girl next door", and waaaay more realistic in terms of a woman's bodily image which feels more welcoming to me now that I'm reaching my thirties soon! This makes you feel great. I'd highly recommend this project to ANY woman who wish to boost their confidence just a little bit more."

"I shot in the bedroom as it's where I spend a lot of time. Being on or in bed dressed, half dressed or naked is my favourite place. I shot wearing some lingerie that I love. I originally bought it to wear for someone but now I wear it for me. I did this shoot for me. I now do most things in my life for me. Doing me is something that I've started late in my life as I was always afraid of upsetting other people. I love the idea of I Shot Myself as a way of breaking away from the mainstream and the unrealistic expectations that shape our subconscious and I loved shooting it - I hope you enjoy the shoot too."

"My folio was an interesting experience that took me on a bit of a journey. At the start I struggled a bit with opening up for the camera. As it went on I started to feel more natural and relaxed and I found I could really have fun with it. For me, shooting my folio took me to some fun and interesting places."

"Not many people see me perform my music, and none have ever seen me perform my music in the nude."

"I would never really be one to do this because I can be quite shy about my body; especially after I had my operations which mean that I now have a pretty gnarly scar running through my abdomen but I'm so glad I did it! I was a little nervous at first but then as the shoot went on I found that I really enjoyed myself, and most importantly, had confidence doing it, which I never thought was possible! I have so much love for strong powerful women who are proud of their bodies, no matter what shape or size and it was nice to finally feel love towards my body."

"I went into this experience with many whack ideas, but I decided to keep it tame and natural. I am just beginning to accept, love and explore my own physical body after 22 years of self hatred and destruction. Being free of those limitations is absolutely liberating, and I wanted to document those first few steps before deeper exploration happens on my terms. I must say, this was a rather riveting experience. On a few occasions I was caught stark naked, hanging from trees trying to get different angles. I have never seen two elderly women so traumatised in their lives! I decided that seeing as they've already seen me, to stand naked next to the train tracks near the station and laugh my head off as I watched passenger's faces change rapidly from bored to horrified. Hilarious."

"Fall - what a time of year! How gorgeous the leaves are and the story they tell. They're with us all through the hot days then falling to their bed below in such glory. And oh the grass - how luscious! A bed for myself to comfortably lie on for this shoot - and boy did it leave its mark. The air was a bit chilly but nothing I can't push through, I just always tell myself the cold is "fresh" - it's the best way to look at it and trust me it works. Happy Fall everyone!"

"While I was in the Driftless area, I was staying at a friend's house that was tucked away in a large valley surrounded by large hills and with nobody around for miles it was very easy to walk around naked all day. The cabin I was staying in is completely "off grid", no running water, septic, electricity or cell service. It was extremely primitive living and I loved it! We came into this world naked and screaming, I plan on going out the same way! :)"

"I recently moved to Melbourne from Sydney and would say that I am a classic example of the art student stereotype. I have never had any experience doing modelling of this sort so I thought it was a very interesting and exciting project to be a part of. I have a lot of creative interests which would be great to incorporate in any possible future projects I may do".

The wondrous darlingheart that we all know as Nicole_G graces our fair site again and unsurprisingly brings with her another infallible folio. Choosing to do her shoot among some fairly impressive trees and blossoms, you could easily be forgiven for not even noticing the opulent surroundings whilst in the presence of this demigoddess.

"Je suis Julliet, j'adore prendre des photos. Mon corps parle pour moi...pas besoin d'être parfait que juste pour me accepter comme je suis. Je suis heureux aussi! chercher à améliorer tous les jours à la recherche d'une meilleure santé juste pour avoir une longue vie. / I am Julliet, I love to take pictures. My body speaks for me...no need to be perfect, just accept me as I am. I am also pleased! I seek to improve every day, work towards better health to have a long life."

"Doing this shoot was a lot of fun because I got to see my body in a different way. It was very interesting for me to see what I look like, and also to see what my boyfriend usually sees! I had a few things to dress up in to help myself get creative and feel like a boss queen. How I feel on the inside always shows on the outside, so it is very important for me to be feeling my best to look my best. I kept this shoot very raw, in the sense that I did not prep for anything (no waxing, minimal makeup, no prior dieting, no research on poses, etc), I just had some music playing and did whatever I felt like! I am so happy with the way it turned out because everything came to me naturally and it shows exactly how I was feeling in that moment. Something fun for me to look back on in a few years :)"

"I heard about ISM from a photo I saw on the internet. It was a good experience. I had never taken pictures of my body before and I showed insanity, freedom of expression, and love to my body."

"With the opportunity to film from a bird's eye view in a beautifully lit room, I hoped to capture something unique."

"In typical Melbourne winter style, it was sunny but it was also very fresh. Being outside naked is something I seldom ever do so the aim of this shoot was to show off my naughty side. To have such a beautiful amount of nature in my own backyard and being naked, made me feel very at home and I felt it relating back to the basics of the natural human form. Inspired by the environment and colours, this shoot is about becoming more comfortable and in touch with my body and to learn to love my curves in a positive way. It's not often you get to be this free!"
