"I did the shoot in the warehouse I share with 4 friends. You can probably see some of them in the background. We're a really open household, they've all seen me naked before, however some of the neighbours hadn't until I did some shots with the bay door open! One guy drove past about 5 times haha. It doesn't bother me, I think I have a nice body and I like people to appreciate it. I had a lot of fun doing this!"

"I fotografie erano assolati e freddini. Mi muovevo con disinvoltura supportata dai miei coinquilini che si sono allontanati dal posto dove ho fatto le foto e che si cono interessati. Un altro coinquilino spaventoso e fermo, un ragno, non e' stato di grande aiuto sparendo dal suo solito posto del giardino. Ha il corpo grande come un'oliva matura a cui aggiungi una testa pelosa. / The photographs I took were sunny and cold. I was reluctantly supported by my roommates who went away from the place where I took the photos. Another frightening and firm roommate, a spider, was not a great help by disappearing from his usual place in the garden. It has a large body like a mature olive to which it adds a hairy head."

"I was so keen to do this shoot and I absolutely loved every part of it. Being able to express all parts of my body and personality and just enjoying being confident within myself made me feel empowered. With all the different positions and locations it was exciting to see the end product and it was a great experience and such a great opportunity!"

"It's hard to find time alone in a house with 8 people and I had no luck with it but I made good use of my room and shower. I turned on Velvet Underground and had fun stripping down to 'Femme Fatale' which is my ultimate sexy song. I just got a new kitten and she is very cuddly so it was hard to keep her from trying to snuggle in beside me so she got shot too! It was fun experimenting with all the mirror angles and positions and I discovered I was much more flexible than I thought. I am so glad I took part in ISM, I think I'll have this sexy glow for the next week!"

"We chased the kangaroos for what seemed like miles but every time we got close, they hopped away. Then the male of the herd came right up to check us out which was really scary - he stared at Sarah with his muscles flexed and I thought he was going to attack! They do that sometimes."

"I'm 23 years old and new to Melbourne! I identify as pan-sexual and love all human beings, and sport and music is what I do in my spare time! But I do love the occasional PC and Console gaming (you might spy a SNES controller in a couple of shots). Festivals are where I let my hair down and can really unwind, nothing's better than letting your heart out and feeling the love of everyone, it's so contagious."

"I am very comfortable naked and it was a positive experience shooting for I Shot Myself. I felt like it increased my sense of self awareness and made me think of possible ways I am perceived by other people."

"I decided to do a few different themes throughout the shoot. I wanted to show the different areas of my life and I found that it made me be a lot more creative and I was able to really put it all out there. By showing different parts of me I felt like I was really letting everyone in and showing them all my little secrets, like eating pizza on the kitchen floor, which is a common occurrence for myself."

"I had fun with this shoot. It'd been a 40 degree day so I waited until right before dusk to begin, my timing was perfect because it started to rain just as I decided to stop. Although I probably could have explored further (there were so many weird and interesting things in the trash/treasure island that is my current back yard). There is a whole block of apartments that can see down into my backyard, it makes me laugh to imagine what they would have thought had they seen me frolicking in the wasteland. At one point my neighbour came out to hang her washing and had she looked through the gaping cracks in the fence she would have definitely been greeted with some interesting sights...Enjoy!"

"The shoot was great fun. The photographs seem to know every minute how they can bring me in the perfect spot or light and I had a very good time. It was good practice so that I learned a lot about how I can make pictures by myself."

It's no secret that Anna_Belle loves cats, ESPECIALLY her beautiful fur baby Yuki so it makes complete sense that her third solo outing at ISM would feature her sweet little companion so prominently. Add to that some gentle pinks, bubbles and dappled afternoon light and you have the perfect combination of things that showcase this glorious being's talent for capturing every angle of her enviable form with aplomb.

"So I had big plans for this shoot. I was going to make a bit of a statement by dressing up in a beautiful evening gown all made up. Then I was going to deconstruct it and take pics of myself plucking, putting on make-up, shaving, fixing my hair etc. The morning of the shoot, I dislocated my knee. My plans went a bit haywire. Instead I have a shoot where I ended up kissing the parts of my body I struggle with (including the injured knee), and just having fun with the objects that make up my life in my room."

"It was interesting doing the shoot. It's quite a lot of photos and it can be hard to find inspiration. For me, it was trying to get into the right head space. And trying to not get caught by my housemate. I found it difficult doing the below the waist shots. I struggle with that area of my body a lot. But it's a very liberating experience. It was a good challenge/experiment for me because you can't help but feel self conscious. But it is interesting what you feel about your body and how you think the world will perceive you. But that's the liberating part, cause' it doesn't actually matter."

"I felt very liberated after the shoot, I got the chance to explore my body in different lights and environment, my flexibility, my comfort zone. It was witty to play and move around with different positions and props, I never truly looked at myself like I thought I had before."

"I'm really open about my sexuality. I was always the one in school who was talking about masturbating and constantly shocking people because I was such a "nice girl". You should be able to be nice and also kinky! I'm not necessarily gay or straight, just overtly sexual perhaps. I love to experience all sensations, so I'm not closed off to any suggestions offered. Sex is such an awesome, animalistic thing... it's an opportunity to not think and just completely lose yourself to feeling. It's so desirable when it gets gross and sweaty and noisy and you've just become completely free."
