"This is probably my most natural state: naked, occassionally confused, blundering through a sewing project with a drink in hand. This was such a relaxing, wonderful shoot to do. During my first Ishotmyself shoot, it took me a while to get into the groove. This time, having the camera set up meant that I often forgot it was there. It was just me doing my thing. I am so excited to share a couple passions of mine with you: nudity and sewing."

"For my shoot I wanted to explore the theme of self-determination of image, particularly in regards to feminine sexuality. Using adornments such as make-up and jewelry, I wanted to present contrasting versions of my own image, but in such a way as to imply that neither is superior, more beautiful or sexual than the other. I loved incorporating the water into this as a bridge between the make-up and bare faces, as well as a literal, visual metaphor for the idea of two different sides to the same surface, hence the title of the shoot."

"Trying to shoot this folio was really hard, especially due to stormy weather and a broken heater! But I decided to just face the challenge and find whatever fun colourful things I had in the house and just went for it! I named this folio "Coloured" because I wanted to play with different backgrounds to see the effect, and red and green are my favourite colours!"

"I was playing with mirrors and plants, this allowed me to experiment with reflections and utilise the plants to create intrigue and to bring even more life into the shoot. I found it more difficult than the first shoot only because I had to challenge myself to create different poses and camera angles. Despite this I felt extremely confident and comfortable and just jumped straight in the first chance I got. It gave me such a rush and I would encourage everyone to do this or take photos of yourself in some manner to get comfortable and satisfied with your body."

"If you look through my pictures, you can see that some of them are shot on my apartment 18th floor balcony. I didn't realize until after I had set up the space that there was a construction elevator going up and down the building near the balcony. At first I was worried that the construction workers were getting a free show because I didn't know if I was within eye shot of their lift. But then I realized that I didn't care either way. Their lucky day I guess..."

"My name is Victoria, I'm going to tell you about my shoot... Well it was more fun and exciting than the last one (my first shoot) I had a really good time trying all different angles and I'm happier with the outcome of these pictures, as I found them brighter, more relaxing and I feel more beautiful. I feel so much more comfy, I'm so happy! It's amazing how doing this really boosts your confidence about your own body."

"When I first got home and started my shoot I was so happy and couldn't stop smiling. It was about half an hour to an hour in and I started to realise I was constantly looking back at photos and deleting them. So I decided for a change of scenery and reset my mind to happy thoughts. I ran myself a bath and started taking a bunch of photos. Then one of my housemates walked in on me, of course I was mid-way through posing for a photo. I'm still unsure if she saw what I was doing but she apologised for walking in on me while we both made dinner."

"I had so much fun doing the shoot, and I felt so good and confident after it. It made me feel very sexy. At first I found it hard to get good angles but once I got a bit more comfortable with myself and my body and let go of any worries, I found it a lot easier and had a lot of fun with it. I did my shoot in front of my big window and didn't realise there were builders on the road outside. They got a good eyeful which I'm sure they loved!"

"I was using belts as a suspension/constricting device for my body to more easily be put into weird poses, but also some of the stretches were a bit harder! I also challenged myself with the limitations of purely shooting in one room, really pushing myself to be creative with limited resources and space. I also got the plants in there because I love them to bits and they add a bit of colour, as well as the contrast between something with a darker connotation (belts/bondage) and nature and nudity, which may be perceived as brighter and lighter. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!!"

"I have to admit it was a tad confronting doing the close up shots, but I managed to put my ego aside and apply an artistic lens and have a bit more fun with it all. I had such a great time playing with lighting, camera angles and some props. Photography for me has always been a passion, I guess I have never really photographed myself - so it was a nice change."

"It was a really pleasant experience, I feel empowered and honestly more confident in my own skin. I used to struggle with my scars on my body but now I have taken the time to really look at them I consider them beautiful and feel stronger. I had a lovely time sipping on my green tea whilst using different techniques and angles for the shoot. And I had fun time waiting for the sun to light my boyfriend's bathroom in between the photos."

"The shoot for me was about destigmatising self-love, for myself and for all women as part of the ISM collective. Green and pink are the colours of the heart chakra - I had a laugh at the pink sheets against the green wall, which was unintentional but super appropriate. I was aiming for a very bare and simple shoot so as not to be 'hiding' but it was a cold winter day. I ended up needing blankets and at one stage a big furry jacket and cup of hot tea. I didn't feel like stopping, so I let them be co-stars!"

"It's Savannah here! This is my ishotmyself video upload, and I must say I had quite a fun time with this one. I've done two ishotmyself projects before and they were absolutely amazing to do, I felt myself caring less and less about the little imperfections that I used to with each photo and these videos were even better for that."

"Choosing to do an erotic/naked photo shoot right in the middle of winter may not have been the best decision I've made, but exploring different ways of interacting with my environment and my body with the camera created a unique dynamic I've never had before. My favourite pictures are the ones in nature where I felt most in my element - playing, frolicking in the sun, making sure that I don't get splinters up my coochie. There were also a few curious passerby's who unfortunately didn't hang out, but must have had some weird ideas about what I was doing, which made it even more fun."

"This shoot was in my new apartment where I have just moved. Through this shoot, I wanted to create a sense of comfort and homeliness in my new space. I tried to reflect this as much as possible in my photos. To do this, I have shown off bits and pieces of my room, including decor, mess, lights and even chains that I found lying on my floor. As a result, have become very familiar with my new home and I'm excited to spend the next 12 months here!"
