Opposite sex Duets

I love duets but I was wondering how members feel about seeing girls on ISM in duets with their boyfriends? Do you like to see it? Do you like watching the hetero sex play? Do you ever like looking at the boys?

Li, do you have to keep handing questions out which appeal to my instincts ;-)

Why should I object to seeing girls on this site with their partners, boyfriends, or even someone they have conned into doing the shoot with them. If the girl is comfortable with it, then so am I.

I have no problem with the hetrosexual play either - see above. I'm not particularly interested, or disinterested, in penetration shots but they do provide an insight into the people in the shoot and what they consider to be fun/sensual/sexual.

Why should I like looking at boys any less than I like looking at girls? My dance training taught me to appreciate body lines and form, which doesn't have a great deal to do with gender, or how physically attractive the person(s) may be. That does not in any way indicate my sexual preferences, or lack of them. As I have stated before, I don't know whether I am totally hetrosexual - maybe it's just that I haven't met a guy that turns me on yet. I live my life with an open mind on that subject.

THAT I want to see.  In general I think it is as valid a presentation as with two women.  Its how the artist wants to portray herself in a sexy connotation.

Have I ever lied to you before?

Re: Opposite sex Duets

i do enjoy seeing hetero duets, just as much as i like seeing homo ones.  there is something about inserting males into a predominantly female space that makes me a bit shy, but i do actually enjoy looking at the male photos as well.  i guess i just figure if a man is willing to particpate in something that i find to be sexually and artistically radical, that he will not disrupt the "safe space" created by what ism does.  and that's hot in itself.  i appreciate combining the partners' perspectives of their sex, as well.  so i'm all for it.  i think that privilege should be reserved for folks who have already displayed prowess in the ism arena, however.

is there any trans representation on this site?  just curious.

He is a hottie, Ms. Merricat, as are you.

I think Liandra's posed an excellent question - some of the duets that come through ISM are absolutely scorching, but don't seem to get much in the way of comments/traffic.  So I'm just as interested as to the responses - but you know what they say about curiosity and cats.

Hey Gala, welcome aboard!  It's a valid question, but the way I see it is, regardless of whether you start out in life as Robert or Roberta, on ISM you are given the the opportunity represent yourself as a goddess.  So while I could tell you the statistical truth about how many transgendered participants we have had, I feel that would betray the fundamental ethos driving each woman who makes the very serious decision to alter her biology.

From a member's perspective, hetrosexual duets do not detract from the ethos of this site and I hope that it always remains a "safe space"

I seem to recollect some discussion of the trans-gender participation a while ago. Unfortunately some of it wasn't particularly endering. Anyway, it isn't that important to me. If someone is uncomfortable with their birth gender, or they were inappropriately sexed, why should they have to live out their lives in the wrong category?

However, I do have issue with those who, like the social homosexuals, are going down that route for the hell of it.

This is where the fine line of art/porn comes in.  I've shot many nude males in close proximity of nude females.  (I'd post samples but none are digital,  they are an old medium called 'film' and I don't have a scanner).  I have shot single females in sexuals poses (which is still very artistic) and 2 later became porn actors.  But I have never shot actual dual sexual acts.

For some reason, in my mind, a line exists here.  Probably because I have never liked sex as a spectator sport.  If I am going to be with a woman who is being pleasured,  I want to participate.  Maybe it's because the idea of a cheering squad,  a peanut gallery, or backseat drivers telling me what to do is a turn off for me.

As to your 2nd question.  Go into the library and look up Tony and see what you think.

That sounds like a good rule of thumb. Personally, I like seeing hetero duets as well as homo duets and solos.

Re: Opposite sex Duets

I love seeing real-life partners of a woman in a duet, man or woman. The players look into it and the photos are hotter. I can ignore a guy in the scene and focus on the women.

If I'm walking down the street with a friend and she says "Ooh, he's hot," most often my response is "who?" I've been perving the women and not even noticing the men.

I think the boy/girl duets are wonderful.  They are tender, loving, and VERY erotic.  None of them so far have just been about humping, they are about a real couple relating to each other and having fun in a very intimate way.  It adds another dimension to the ISM concept - especially if the girl has already done a solo shoot.  I'd like to see more b/g shoots - but as well as, not instead of.

I think the male/female shoots are awesome and there should be more so long as there are couples who feel comfortable photographing their intimate moments like that and sharing them with the world.  Also, if ISM ever starts doing solo male shoots, they should also do male/male duet folios.

Same here. I'm bisexual but I notice women a lot more than I notice men. I'm rarely attracted to men at all (though it's weird because when I AM attracted to a man it's usually MUCH more instense than any attraction I've ever had to a woman).

And, back on topic, I just posted a pic of the boy I hope to do an ISM duet set with in my new thread!

I think Elaine said it best on Seinfeld (I don't remember the exact quote, so I'll paraphrase): Women's bodies are like Ferrari's, things of luxury. Men's bodies are like Jeeps, they're utilitarian and good for getting around.
