intent

Okay I got an issue.  Well I have lots of issues, just ask my girlfriend, but here’s the one I'm having right now.

H-E-Double Hockey sticks.  Fudge. Frick. Dang. Heck. Darnit.

What is up with that.  I know its not polite to swear.  I try to avoid it when children or people I know would be offended are around.  I don't always succeed, like that time I called my sister a bitch then asked my mom why the f*** she slapped me. (No one said I was the sharpest tool in the shed)

My problem is that by using some euphemism your intent is still the same.  In my little world intent is what matters.  The actual words don't mean anything unless I place an offensive value on them.  Back to my mother.  If I said I'm going to take a piss she would be offended.  Now if I said the same thing to a Kiwi it would mean something completely different and wouldn't be offensive at all.  Well I'm sure my mother would still be but she frowns on all of my evil ways.

What do ya'll think?
