I'm sorry to here of the demise of little Ching Ching. It's always sad to loose a life. I certainly like her photos and those of her companion. Maybe you should try some pics with your rabbits, although they may not be quite as compliant as Ching Ching.

Funny how we get attached to them. I get a tear when we loose one. Last one was a cat, Blackie. He was dancing on the bed at 500 am and got put outside. Coyotes must have got him. We miss him.

Am so sorry to hear that, Jing...your little rat was so, so cute!  Do you think you might get another rat...perhaps a ferret, like Bagpipe in jessamy's recent shoot?

How about an ocelot instead?

Have you and I talked about this in the past?  I have a Bengal -- a little more domestic than an Oci-cat...is the pic yours by chance?  They are beautiful beasts, aren't they?!

No more than rats, Jing *S* (of which I've had 3).  Apparently ferrets can get a bit...smelly, but again that's a matter of upkeep.  Check out the following link (if it works - i'm still getting used to the get-up of a forum) and you'll see what I mean...

We've discussed cats before, sure!  But no, I don't own an ocelot (I doubt it would be legal, especially in Australia), but I can dream.  My ideal pet?

They are just my favourite animal.  And not because they're lazy, either *S*
