ARTISTS STATEMENT

Shooting myself is an expression of confidence and creativity. I want my images to portray some of the important aspects of my life. Growing up around nature (very close to where my shoot was) has given me and appreciation for the endless beauty of the outdoors. I combined my life-long passion for creativity with my newest passion for pilates in some of my postures. My hope is that people see my photos as fun, valuable, healthy and unique.

Why i shot myself: I shot myself because I am young and fit and happy for the world to see it.
Most outrageous thing I have done: Running around the bush naked with a camera and a mirror.
Books I like: I love to read biographies or books based on a true story such as A Million Little Pieces, Room Full of Mirrors, and Scar Tissue.
Films I like: Blow, Lords of Dogtown, About A Boy, Pulp Fiction, and plenty more!
