ARTISTS STATEMENT

I fell in love with the female body even before I entered art college. It always seemed to me very disturbing, aesthetic, trembling. I didn't think about my body then at all, but I thought about others. In college, we were shown nudes of various people, including older ones. Then, as teenagers, they laughed, but inside me, a change in perception began. Moreover, this applied to painting, that is, to my favorite process, and through it I studied bodies and loved and admired the human form. As for my perception of myself, after giving birth, I became calmer (after all, the child needs a positive mother). Stretch marks, fallen breasts, a slightly flabby body stopped straining, and thus I explored the standards of beauty, where there is a lot of artificiality. I love myself the way I am.

Why i shot myself: I love to be myself, I want to see again how it looks in the photo, and be happy that I can be natural, and of course show it to people.
who I'd least like to see shoot themselves: People stuck in media stereotypes about appearance and self-perception
who I'd most like to see shoot themselves: Real sincere people
Most outrageous thing I have done: When I was forced to euthanize a very sick cat :(
