ARTISTS STATEMENT

After a few months of flashing fairy lights and mustard bottles long, slick, red, boiling frankfurts and soft, sweet buns, late nights, sore feet in my blue shoes and The Carpenters on the radio, I've begun to long for something more. I close my eyes and see the strobe of the 'hot dog' lights. I feel like a frustrated starlet. I dream about stage lights in my sleep. I suddenly have an inclination to hitch up my tulle skirts, peel off my fishnets and get in front of a camera. I want to be in the glossies. I imagine working with motorbikes, bikinis and machine guns. I know it's a long way to the top, but in the meantime, I might make myself comfortable on the casting couch.
