ARTISTS STATEMENT
You’re here. Muscle memory kicks in as you release shirt buttons from their holes, freeing the choke hold on your neck, across your chest, your belly. Shedding your synthetic skin, spreading your wings with creaking bones. The breeze tickles your open armpits, waking up your nipples, whispering hello. Fumbling with laces, peeling off sweaty socks, you feel the ground again. You step out of this cage, and release your friends from theirs. Inhale. Sense. Sway with gravity. Feel empowered. Feel. Shoot yourself.

ARTIST PROFILE
birthplace: Australia.
currently living in: Australia.
occupation: Student of life and restaurant floor manager.
age: 21.
height: 162cms.
relationship status: Totally in love with life.
starsign: Gemini.
biggest passion in my life: Actually being. Just be.
I like to listen to: fire, poking and crackling, friends in love, Chinese whispers like back in second grade.
I like to watch: instinct and subconsciousness at play, quiet confidence, learning, uncontrollable excitement.
I like to smell: people, real subtly as they pass by.
I like to taste: the rich squishy blood socket left in the wake of a lost tooth.
I like to feel: awkward, the hint of a pea's presence beneath the mattress.
favourite part of my body: Armpits, seemingly so shy but actually very good at expressing themselves, leaking your essence.
favourite part of someone else's body: Collarbones and rib cages, the framework of a person, keeping the juicy soul bits all safe and sound.
Why i shot myself: Because I am proud of the glorious, hairy, grounded collection of meat that transports my soul during my time on this planet. I want to experience and be experienced in a pure and raw way.
Most outrageous thing I have done: By whose standards?
Bands I like: I'm a shocker for names and fames. I like enjoying other people enjoying music.
Books I like: At the moment I love digesting what comes out of Dave Eggers' mind.
Films I like: Ones with not much said, with lots of pretty trees and naturally wild people, and with the subtitles on please, always.
