ARTISTS STATEMENT

I am an intelligent and complex artist, a paradox of playful little girl and sultry rock chick. I love to write songs and dance many styles. I see myself as a leader and love collaborating with like minded people to bring passion and joy into our lives. Be it visual art or performance, I strive for unreasonable self expression with a theatrical flair. The depth of my perception comes from life experience. To be afraid and act anyway, as the mistakes are the lessons that fuel truth in creation, a sensual power. I believe that within a space of searching within, the naked body is a falling of the mask we wear. As a life model I enjoy and understand the search from line and form like the roads to personal truth and how to think and see. To be the subject of this search lights me up like a joy beyond time. As an artist I want to be respected and known for who I am, rather than shunned or glorified. It's an illusive challenge of balancing that which must be said for myself and giving others that which they need to hear to make a difference. I try to trust that everything happens for a reason and that everything will come to you if it's meant to be.
