ARTISTS STATEMENT

I chose to do this shoot to challenge myself and at the end I had a lot more fun doing it than I expected. It helped me reconnect with myself, bring back more playfulness in my intimate life. I find it so empowering, being the photographer and the model, choosing how I want to be seen was really pleasant. I've learnt how to see my body through someone else's eye and I liked it! I never wanted to conform to society's standards of beauty and for me to do this project and show proudly my generous forms, my hairy legs, my imperfections is a really powerful way to say: we are all so beautiful and sexy when we've learnt how to love our self fully! Its my epicurean revolutionary side!/Finalement participer a ism a ete bien plus chouette que ce que j'avais pense, je voulais me mettre au defi, faire quelque chose que je n'avais jamais fait avant ! Cela m'a aider a me reconnecter avec mon corp, mon cote jouer ! a etre nous meme, tout simplement. j'ai beaucoup aime etre le model et le photographe, choisir comment je voulais etre vu. J'ai appris a me voir au travers des yeux d'un etranger et j'aime ce que je vois ! Je n'ai jamais voulu me conformer au standards de beaute et pour moi contribuer a se project et afficher avec fierte mes rondeurs, mes poils, mes imperfections .. c'est une facon radical de dire : on est tous incroyablement magnifique et sexy quand on s'accepte et s'aime VRAIMENT! C'est mon cote revolutionnaire epicurienne

Most outrageous thing I have done: Travelled around the world on my own with sometime for only money my art pieces to trade or sell in the street / voyager seule et vivre de mon art, vendre mes bijoux et peintures dans la rue !
