Each artist provides a brief bio and an artists statement, which is included on the artist page, along with links to all the folios and videos she has contributed. On the folio page you can view the full sized pics - on average around 40- 60 pics - and leave comments for the artist. Prime and Extra sponsors can download the entire folio as a zip.

Project_ISM was launched on July 1st, 2003. Since then we have added a new artist every day and will continue to do so forever. We have had over 2500 artists submit folios and have over 120,000 images in the archive.

The daily 'prime' folio is a first time submission from a new ism contributing artist. The folio is displayed on the front page of the site for 24 hours, and in that time, the public can freely view 10 of the more modest self-portraits.

All images on Project_ISM since January 2006 are at least 1280x960 (i.e huge), with the archives prior to then being at a respectable 1024x768. Click on any of the tour images for a sample of the image size and quality.
