ARTISTS STATEMENT

I love my body more and more every day for the things it can do and feel. I hope that by nude expression I can show the true beauty of what we are trained from birth to cover as shameful. How strange to shrink with embarassment should our dangly bits ever be accidentally exposed. I suppose it means we can experience a little more thrill at the ‘naughtiness’ of some of the sexy things we get up to, but when so many people out there have debilitating mental illnesses related to what they must hide under their clothes it’s obvious that the system’s gotta change. It has been fun to take some sexy and amusing pictures, to let go and give life to what I believe. I am happy to share my exposed self, in all its perfect imperfections – not for any illusions of fame nor even the veiled conceit of artistry, but only to share and show what simply I am.
