ARTISTS STATEMENT

I wanted to shoot with I Shot Myself for the chance to do my own representation and show my own creativity. I've done a small amount with other sites and really liked the personal element ISM has of being able to put yourself out there the way you'd really like to be seen and involve your own eye rather than another photographers. I feel good about being naked on the internet for the most part. It can really challenge the way we view our bodies and sexuality and when the model has agency in the whole thing, it can really challenge the way we view erotica and porn. I want to be able to keep doing creative erotica and porn with sites that I respect and respect me. It is fun and helps me explore my own sexuality. Shooting myself was cool because I really had to think 'how do I want to present myself', 'what do I want people to see', instead of just thinking what normally is done or out there. Thanks!
