ARTISTS STATEMENT

Nunca había pensado en la sensualidad y en estar desnuda únicamente para mí, en un espacio sin la necesidad de estar con alguien más contemplándome. La desnudez, la sensualidad y el cuerpo deben ser primero que todo para nosotros mismos, las fotografías ayudan en este aspecto, te muestran partes que en las que no te pones a pensar frecuentemente, pero que terminas descubriendo que son tus favoritas. Mostrar la naturalidad de los cuerpos se siente liberador y autentico, ya que siempre estamos ligados a los filtros y a aparecer “perfectos” en las redes sociales, este proyecto es una forma de mostrar eso que generalmente no mostramos a los demás, la vulnerabilidad, las imperfecciones que nos avergüenzan pero que son parte de ser humano. / I had never thought about sensuality and being naked just for myself, in a space without the need to be with someone else watching me. Nudity, sensuality and the body must be first of all for ourselves, photographs help in this aspect, they show you parts that you don't often think about, but that you end up discovering are your favorites. Showing the naturalness of the bodies feels liberating and authentic, since we are always linked to filters and to appear "perfect" on social networks, this project is a way of showing what we generally do not show to others, vulnerability, the imperfections that embarrass us but that are part of being human.
