odalys//"sunblessed"
Odalys is absolutely radiant, and that glow from within is matched by the glow she’s chosen to bathe in for her ‘initiation’ to ISM. She really has a grasp on the meaning of ‘abundance’, and when you know you’ve got it, you share it. And share she does.

lietha//"splashback"
We like Lietha’s approach to ISM. For her it’s not an event; it’s just a casual, snap-here snap-there sort of thing. Which, if you think about it, is perhaps the best way to show exactly who you are, as you are, every day.

edan//"ivy"
There are a number of ways a Project ISM participant can use her body. Edan chooses to use hers as a canvas today, creating a green scene that is convincing enough to attract butterflies!

darkling//"hi_mum"
September’s Art Prize winner is back today with some more of the incredible compositions and sultry stares which made her an ISM Hero in the first place. This girl can do everything – bunny homicide, body art, bush exploration – and still makes time to say hi to mum.

elvira//"luminance"
This professional go-kart racer (!!!) shows us her creative side today, which has a particularly girlie bent. I wonder if her competitive go-kart jumpsuit has gold sequins as well….

jonah//"trashglam"
This month’s ISM Awesome Tattoo Award goes to Jonah, who rocks our socks with her extremely sassy spunk. As someone who seems to really grab life by the balls (to use the parlance of our times), our little Project seemed right up her alley, and we hope it’s right up there in her list of personal pleasures.

ellis//"MessingAbout"
Folios don't have to be remarkably artistic, provocative or clever to be appreciated on ISM, as Ellis demonstrates with a collection of pictures taken in and around her house - what I really dig about this folio is the look in her eyes, the way she engages the camera, and therefore us.

vanilla//"goldenrod"
Molten sunshine rolls into this series as Vanilla spends the late afternoon hard at work as a photographic alchemist. The last few shots are perfection as she squeezes those last few drops into thousands of pixels.

masarap//"in_the_hay"
Go for a (very virtual) roll in the hay with Masarap in her smiley and confident ISM debut. We can tell you from firsthand experience that she’s just as fun to talk to as she is to look at.
Jan 02, 2009
isla pix//"renew"
Isla Pix contributed to ISM as a part of embracing new ways of living, and her images are appropriately full of life – flora and fauna, happy little tadpoles and flowers kissed into colour by the sun. Her spirit of celebration is uplifting.

brigitta//"lampsdownlow"
Brigitta’s return has been long-awaited, and the time has been good to her. The soft, intimate light and very close frames in this set are a sharp contrast from her ‘babyblues’, but that sounds about right for Brigitta, who can encompass an endless number of contrasts in one complex being.

estellar//"whitewash"
Estellar returns to ISM in a plain, no-frills set that sets her pale blue eyes against a white wash of modern domesticity. She doesn’t need much adornment, though – she’s a visual treat all her own.

betty_darvin//"big_grin"
This Danish dame has a smile that could change the world if it were flashed at enough of its inhabitants. Imagine being somewhere along her daily walk to work – I’d come out onto my doorstep in my pyjamas at 7:30 AM every weekday if it meant I’d get even a passing smile from her.

vivienne//"6am" Video
If you didn't already love Vivienne (and what exactly is your excuse?), waking up next to her will probably convince you to. For those of you who think you've got it pretty good in life, prepare to take stock of your lot, because I think Vivienne's got it the best of all. An outdoor shower, a Tyson, and the coffee maker of my dreams.

ashleigh//"radiance"
Ashleigh soaks up the abundant sunshine and makes us at ISM HQ terribly jealous – apparently it’s meant to be summer and we have yet to see more than a cameo from this famous sun. Sure, we’re a little green, but we’re also a little grateful to at least see it in pictures.
