I was walking along the creek last week and I saw a gnarled hand reaching up through the ground, slightly off the path. As I approached this strange appendage, I saw that it was holding out a CD, seemingly offering it to me. I took it home, wiped off the mud, and opened its contents to find this, an offering from the underworld, a strange and sparkly and saturated place where the heat of the earth’s core is palpable – and visible.

Cocobean amps it up for her ISM debut, making us all a bit weak at the knees with the power she wields in such a striking but simple getup. She knows exactly how to accentuate her figure, right down to the expression on her face.

No more disgruntled middle-aged out-of-work actors ringing your doorbell on behalf of your admirers, no – just a whole lot of Lydia_Ls on a mission to deliver the joy – and whether it’s the balloons or the courier herself is up to you to decide.

This little-known blast from ISM”s past has another offering for us today in an attempt to prove that you don’t actually need water to go surfing. I don’t know if she’s developed much of a following for her lawnsurfing club, but I think she looks better as a one-woman outfit anyway.

This folio is truly the sweetness, and if it doesn’t make you feel all warm and fluffy inside, we recommend that you consider yourself a healing retreat or some other form of therapy. Or maybe just get yourself a kitten – that makes everything better.

Dance the dance of life with Portia - no, really, you've got plenty of space around you there. How can you resist when she makes it look so good? This lady's got an old and earthy soul that we're privileged to have witnessed here.

Ness does some creative self-segmentation in this set, which is perhaps where she started to ‘learn to love the parts she’s not so keen on’. There’s nothing like some literal self-reflection to get you digging on your absolute and holistic beauty, and Ness is onto that like brown on rice.

With a name like Foofoolala, you might expect a rather light-hearted, silly folio – and certainly there’s a light spirit to her images. But she’s also used her body as a canvas to address something that is both uniquely Australian and universal to the whole human tribe.

Letisha’s sporting a new ‘do and a slightly more daring approach to creating for ISM – this time she’s ventured outside her four walls and down the winding path to enjoy the feeling of piling her clothes up in the grass. I wonder how many others travel down that winding path on a daily basis…
