How does the pleasure of walking round the house in your birthday suit compare to that you get from exposing yourself in the context of ISM? Is Marcena's offering here more or less intimate and / or exposed than she might be to her happy housemates? Only she can know for sure, but that doesn't stop us speculating...

A woman's place, as I'm sure you know, is in the home. And Spacewitch knows how to occupy herself there, oscillating between the dirty-work and the even dirtier activity of finding a killer outfit for the evening's plans. The only thing missing is a martini, but just because we can't see it doesn't mean it wasn't there.

This sun-spattered and colourful set gives Knotty_Girl something to feel good about, and that was before it even went on the internet. Now that it's gone that extra step of instilling happiness in others, we hope she'll notice the tiny shift of universal satisfaction that she's caused.

We barely recognised her without all of the fluff, but she's just as gorgeous when stripped this bare as she is when she's dolled up. Aristo is the siren in the waterfall today, she plays the part quite well - we're totally hypnotised without even needing to hear the song.

Bernadetta has the classic good looks of a black-and-white film starlette. You know, the whole 'meant to be in pictures' sort of thing. But I'm not sure she knows it. Her freshman ISM set is totally unassuming and unpretentious - incidental, even - but can that really last?

In cities of dense ISM Artist populations, few derelict buildings remain untouched in some way by bare breasts or bums. It's industrial chic for Ashlynn and Dust, whose breasts and bums also do not go untouched by one another's.

Sayuri is schooled in the theory of impermanence, and because she knows that every moment is slipping away just as it happens, she relishes each one as though she'll never see it again. Apply this to the way you view her images and you might get a little insight into how she lives.

She says she's a shy girl, but we find it almost impossible to believe, based on her attention-seeking behaviours in this collection. She's glammed up to the nines and posing for the camera in the middle of the cosmetics department - if that's not bold, we can't imagine what is.

Many a lady has spent a weeknight locked in her bathroom with her makeup bag and a few choice accessories - it's just one of those rituals of the self that we all experience in one way or another. Torrid's just happens to involve swallowing diamonds.

Persia is the Lady of Light in this atmospheric set, all colours and magnitudes, trying to contain the whole spectrum into a single room. And given her proclivities for magick, it doesn't seem an impossible goal.

Honora is fascinated by the intricacy and femininity of lace, and now that she's brought it to our attention, so are we. With such dynamic textures and patterns you can follow endlessly (or until the ribbon runs out), we see why she wants nothing more than to be all wrapped up in them.

Or is it 'chaffuese'? And who knew you could get such dramatic light in a sedan? Rioberry is tied at the hip to her modus adventurus, and so it is fitting that it features so prominently here. And they don't even have to leave the carport to have a good time.

She made perhaps one of the most dramatic debuts ISM has ever seen, one that had us crashing so deeply into her imagery that to see her in any other style has been like meeting this totally new creature. But if anyone is capable of multiple re-inventions, it's Slitrin.

It ain't easy being a real artist in this age of commercialism and consumption, but Sharmayne's giving it a red-hot go - or at least she will be when she stops procrastinating. But when you can hang out naked in your room all day, performing your own words to a captive audience, what motivation do you have to get out there amongst the vileness and wage the war that is original creation?
