"I am lucky enough enough to have space and a funky backyard whilst our isolation takes place. It was the first time shooting myself, and I'm a rare selfie taker, so this folio was simply a reflection of me trying to figure out how my body works in front of a camera and trying to find my 'sexy'. Going through the photos, I was really quite proud of myself and in this world of editing, I didn't find much I would change."

"Ho realizzato questo set di foto nel mio appartamento ad Amsterdam. Gli scatti sono di ieri 3 Maggio al primo mattino. Ho cominciato vestita come ogni giorno e poco a poco ho scoperto il mio corpo rivelando le mie parti intime. Nulla di eccezionale e successo durante il processo più che sentirmi rilassata e in pace con me stessa. Mi sento molto bene dopo questa esperienza. / I shot this folio in my apartment yesterday on the 3rd of May 2020 in the morning. I started with my usual clothes on and then I started to discover my body slowly and show to the camera my intimate parts. Nothing special happened during the process of taking the pictures, more than feeling relaxed and step by step more confident in my movements. I feel really good after this experience."

"I've always been drawn to the whimsical or raw photography of people or landscapes. There's so many artists out there that I love. One off the top of my head is Sally Mann's controversial black and white photography. And the many artists on a page I follow called Project Uno/Project Soul. I really like the use of the body as a sculptural form. The way they explore the body in non classical perception. I like images that organic or hypnotic."

"Playing with rope, it's not always a sexy thing for me. I really like doing it with friends, it's just a nice activity to do together, cause you can get kind of involved in what you're doing. You don't have to talk, but you're still hanging out. You're learning, and of course, touching each other, which is just really nice I think. For too many people, the only touch they get is from their lovers. And it sucks when you're single, and you don't have anyone to touch. I just like to have activities I can do with my pals, and rope bondage is a really great one of those."

"This was a new experience for me, and a challenging one! I wanted something to focus on, and keep me entertained throughout the shooting process - and thus, fruit erotica (!?) was born. I hope you can see how much fun I had shooting this, because it truly was a hilarious experience. I never thought I’d feel sexy covered in passion fruit, but I absolutely did. Apparently I was yummy enough that the mosquitoes in my yard wanted a bite too! My favourite part of this was experimenting with use of the mirrors, something that I often find reflects me uncomfortably, but gave me some of the more vulnerable and my favourite photos of the shoot."

"I have a girlfriend. We wanted to try something new together. Hm, yes, we are a bit more than just friends ;). Firstly when we got an idea to shoot for ISM together, we were not sure. It seems to be not easy. But we are brave enough to try. So, Galina came to my home, we had a coffee and spoke a bit. We got many mirrors, and started to shoot. Well, it was fun! It was difficult only for a while, in a few minutes we already laugh, try different unusual poses and almost forgot that we do it for shooting, not just for playing. "This was just another day for me really. I think I'm basically always naked at home, my housemates even get annoyed at me sometimes but what can I say I'm just not really a clothes person. I shot this on a cloudy day when I couldn't go outside anyway. I put down towels cause the floor was so cold, but my nipples were hard the whole time anyway! Nudity is natural, and it's our right do to whatever the hell we want with our bodies. Hope you like mine."

"When I was younger I was obsessed with our garden hose. I would wait for summer every year and spend every day outside with the hose, spraying my dog, pretending I was a firefighter, you name it. As I got older I started to realise that garden hoses are capable of the most amazing things... if you know what I mean. So this photo shoot is my ode to the every day garden hose, my first love and to this day a loyal friend."

"Shooting this was so important to me, but so nerve racking. I have never been in front of a camera for modeling, yet alone with my clothes off. It took a while for my self consciousness to wear off but I ended up having a lot of fun looking at my body from all angles :). I started shooting in a spare bedroom for privacy and then moved to my own space whilst listening to a playlist of nostalgic bangers. This helped me open up to reach some of those harder to obtain angles such as of my back and ass."

"This is my second time participating in the ishotmyself project, so you can imagine that my nerves have became steel and I was a little more brave and bossy than before. Having that previous experience with the first project I was prepared and more than comfortable and happy to continue. I wanted to be more playful but also conservative and mindful of the female body and represent a powerful embracement of the art of sexuality and I think that is what I achieved in my shoot for the second time."

"It was shot in my bedroom, in the morning of a cloudy day in April. I was thinking about my boyfriend in the next room, how easily bruised my body looks, the little details about myself I've never noticed. I thought about how little time I spend naked, apart from during sex. It felt like I was getting to know somebody, learning about myself through my own eyes. I felt refreshed and happy, more in touch with myself and confident."

"I decided to do a photo shoot in the field and at the same time combine it with a picnic with my friend. It was fun to photograph myself, I was not afraid of nudity, since the grass around me was quite high. I embarrassed my friend a little, I didn't warn him about the photo session. He was pleasantly surprised and helped me by being my lookout. There was a bright sun and my pale ass got tanned a bit on it haha. I am also a little shy of the camera and do not really expose my body outside, I hope I will get better with time."

"I woke up at 5:30am and headed down to the beautiful forest near my house for sunrise. I carried a heavy backpack and a chair for a few kilometres into the forest. When I reached my first location the sun had began to shine itself all over me and the trees. The day was sensual and rich with the divinity of nature and self expression. I shot video alongside taking stills and it was a very orgasmic experience - touching myself in the sunshine with the birds singing. At one stage an old man walked past catching me in the act which was fun. We should all masturbate more in nature."

"I shot most of the photos in my one bedroom apartment. It was actually difficult to shoot because my apartment is on the ground floor and to get the best lighting I had to have my blinds fully open for everyone on the street to see as they walked past! But after a while it really didn't bother me at all and I felt super comfortable. While I was shooting outdoors, I had the most fun and was constantly harassed by the dogs (I think they made it in to a few shots). Bees were also a hassle, haha."

"Raus aus der Zivilisation und raus aus uns selbst. Am meisten liebe ich wie komisch wir uns anfangs fühlten und wie man Stück für Stück sicherer wurde und loslassen konnte. Die letzten 2 Stunden verbrachten wir splitterfasernackt wie Mama Earth uns schuf am Strand. Mein Körper ist ein Tempel voller schöner Ungewissheit. / Getting out of civilization and out of myself. Most of all, I love how weird I felt at first and how one by one got safer and could let go. The last 2 hours were spent naked like Mama Earth created us on the beach. My body is a temple full of beautiful uncertainty."
