"I was thinking about how great it is that I can take photos and people can see them anywhere in the world. I was trying to express myself and my features the way they are. The real me with objects from my house and sexual fantasies, like sitting naked on a windowsill and wearing glasses on my chest. It was alive. It was me. I feel great after shooting because I love creativity, and it's nice that this project gives me the opportunity to show my work for you."
"I shot this set between my living room and bedroom during a quiet afternoon at home. I wanted the photos to feel intimate, relaxed, and slightly voyeuristic rather than overly posed or polished. While shooting, I kept thinking about how confidence changes when you feel comfortable in your own space, and I think that energy naturally came through in the images."
"Hi ISM it's been a while. This started as a cooking inspired theme, turned into what if I used my burlesque props. I shot all of these either in my kitchen or the workspace I share with my partner, so you'll see a few strange objects in the background. Due to the lack of sun in Melbourne right now I had to shoot these over a few different days so you might see my different manicures."
"I took some photographs in a small forest near city roads, it was difficult to get to the clearing, I walked through the tall grass with a large mirror in my hands, it was very scary, I was alone and at first I just wanted to go home, I was worried that passers-by will notice me. And that's what happened in the end. A train driver saw me naked and turned on the sound signal, I got scared and hid in the bushes. Then I relaxed a little during the shooting process and got a taste for it. The other parts of the folio were taken at home."
"Hi Sweeties. This shoot was a very fun and relaxed experience. I took these photos in the morning after a cosy sleep in. I enjoyed setting up a soft textural backdrop to compliment my soft body. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I did taking them!"
"I shot my ISM folio in my home, in my room and outside. It was on a random weekday, I had been putting it off but it felt really freeing to finally allow myself to complete it and do something for myself in this way. I had actually started my period that morning and thought it would deter me, instead it just made me feel really empowered and sexy in my body. A feeling I don't usually have during".
"I shot this folio in my bedroom on the morning before a holiday, usually just a day of packing and waiting. But that morning felt different. I woke up, looked out the window, and the light instantly lifted my mood. On a whim, I picked up my guitar, which I hadn't touched in ages, and let myself move freely. The shoot turned playful and slightly mischievous, and I completely lost track of time."
"This ISM folio really opened me up in a way I hadn't for a long time. I truly felt connected to my body and my sensuality. I felt empowered to give different angles a go and had so much inspiration and got more experimental as the shoot went on. I shot in my bedroom space which felt comfortable and colourful. I thought of how far I've come in my empowered womanhood. I felt almost high afterwards."
"One winter day, I decided to do a new photo shoot and document myself in this frosty winter. This year, I decided not to go to Asia for the winter and am staying in my hometown. It's been a very cold and snowy winter: in the last month, the temperature dropped below -20 degrees celsius and there was a lot of snow. That's why my skin seems unusually white, and my hair has stopped bleaching in the sun! I recently got a bob, and now I feel like I've regained my virginity! Especially when I'm wearing this cute jumpsuit!"
