ARTISTS STATEMENT

I've always been someone who is so insecure with themselves and someone who has struggled to look in the mirror. I've struggled with eating disorders and not accepting myself. I have never struggled with being intimate with someone and showing them my naked body, but it's a different story when looking at myself. Doing ISM I felt free and comfortable being naked and looking at myself in the mirror. It was nice to see my body in different positions I haven't seen it in before and seeing how it bends and folds and makes rolls that aren't as ugly as I tell myself. I hope this can be a start for me to love myself and my naked body.
