ARTISTS STATEMENT

Hi! My name is Kaleigh. I am a producer at heart. I love to bring people and projects together. Pre-COVID I was active in producing and directing film and theater. ISM has been really fun for me because I can bring that skill set to celebrating bodies and sensuality. I'd love to live in a world where shame was removed from sexuality. For me, eroticism is a way to connect not only with partners, but with myself and the world around me. Eroticism is a source of inspiration and vitality for moving through the world. So often we see sexuality as just this glossy, commodified thing. It can feel unattainable. And it has a tendency to make people feel disconnected from themselves and their own sex appeal. We are all, quite literally, the products of sexuality. When sexuality is tangled up in shame, we are feeling shame for the source of our very existence. Becoming comfortable with my body and sexuality as been so radical - it's helped me love the very fibers of my being. I connect with ISM because it provides a platform not only for the glossy/commodified representation but for unique, personal expression. And that's beautiful.
