says... As a reformed cutter myself, I can tell you that scars are cool, but self inflicted ones speak to a lot of pain. People I knew couldn't understand why I did it, and I'm not sure I truly do, either. Today, I'm good looking and successful, but I was back then, too. I just didn't know how to appreciate it through all my pain. You're a beautiful woman, probably very intelligent and creative (most cutters are). You've just got to get beyond the cutting.
