Surely this ropework must be a special hobby of yours, for you to be so good at it -- witness the landscape of 131 with its foreground and background interest, or the little vignette of flesh in tension which is 160 (and the following photo which seems to hint that you enjoy your work). I must admit, I've usually never been particularly drawn to this sort of thing, but your set is quite pleasing to look at (for reasons as cited above, and just because there's a lovely palette of colors - yours, your rope's, the blanket's, the light) and perhaps because it seems clear that you're doing the wrapping rather than having it done to you, I feel more comfortable with allowing myself to enjoy it. H'mm. Well, we all bring our own stuff to the viewing of ISM pictures, of course - the experience of looking comes from the collision between the artist's worldview and craft, and the viewer's personal context.
