trevor says... How gratifying to hear you say that you chose the 'cello because it was most like the human voice. I chose the viola at the age of 5 for exactly the same reason--had my voice developed to be an astounding instrument, I would have chosen to be an opera singer. Alas, my voice didn't turn out to be anything approaching greatness, so I am satisfied singing on the viola.
