Usually, folios which are "themed" in ways which seem superficially similar to this one leave me cold (especially, I must admit, when the artist is being coy about showing some of her bits) but there's something -- perhaps partly the dynamic colors and composition but I think mostly the artist's personal intensity -- which makes these pictures riveting. 3:01PM Dec 7th 2004
