Hmm, interesting... Durex is making a good start but they really need to work on increasing sensor coverage and touch intensity. The silicone fingers in the story sound hot, they should work with vibration and transferring warmth too. I guess most people would be initially put off by the lack of weight, warmth, smell and complexity in the sensations, and it's kinky sci-fi feel, but after getting over that I'm sure it would have a market.
