Just saw a really good episode of star trek tng.

The hetro Dr Beverley Crusher meets a quite good looking rubber foreheaded alien guy and falls head over heals in love, not knowing his body is only a host body and he is an organism temporarily occupying it. When the host body is accidentally killed the organism is transplanted into Crushers friend (Ryker), to keep it alive until a replacement host can be sent.  With the physical body she fell in love with gone, this freaks out Beverly who still loves the person inside but the sexual fare is now unpaid for that journey and she doesn't want to be lovers. On top of that the replacement body sent to be the host is a woman.

The episode explores the standard notions of sexual love really well. That it's a recipe, only part of which we have free will over.

It's called the host from season 4 and there's a million bit torents of it out there
