Hehe this other, more scientificy article linked at the bottom says that this first article is poppycock, but to be honest I read the first page and then zoned out, still with no idea whether men and women are different or not.

Well but the basic premise of the response article seems to be that 'different' or 'not different' is a stupid binary dichotomy just like  'man' and 'woman', and those studies aren't even extrapolated correctly, so you're not even using science right, nyaaahh!

Now I'm no scientist, but I reckon we are. Different, that is, both socially and fundamentally, with exceptions of course. Where there are categories there are distinctions - there's a reason these categories were defined. Now as we explore alternate spaces in what is, in fact, a gender spectrum, all we do is define new categories - which is effectively a way to <i>differentiate</i> oneself from the existing categories.

My own observations have sorted all this out without the need for science.
As peoples behaviour is moulded by social mores that demand almost complete compliance.
And trying to separate hardwired traits from the effects of environmental affairs
is certainly uncertain and can hardly be determined by a bunch of questionnaires

But with all this research I've reached a very definite conclusion
and that something has been very definitely proven

My feeling is that there really isn't any kind difference we can see
that can't be explained by the brain being raised in a boy or girl's body
What's left is the difference, a born with difference, that everyone has placed upon us
Consciously unquantifiable but perceived with obvious undeniability by our conservative and presumptive subconscious

All this talk of differences is entertaining and only guesswork of sorts
Because of course, until we map the brain and relate it to how it controls our body and our thoughts

Yeah, I love doing it. You can pretty much find out if someone wrote something by copying any paragraph or sentence and pasting it in it's entirety into google enclosed by "quotemarks" At the moment you get no results. Previous studies have shown that women who take testosterone tend to see an improvement in their spatial navigation skills.
