ARTISTS STATEMENT
Up until my thirties, I felt embarrassed about my body, shy and lacking in self love and confidence. I realized that I had one life to live and I threw all these self limiting thoughts away. I developed a sense of self love, accepting myself no matter what and began to love my body and respect it. I delved into my sexuality and realized that it was not a 'dirty' thing, but a beautiful thing. Taking these photos of myself has further developed a positive sense of self and my own sexuality. I also feel a little cheeky and spontaneous and I love that. I enjoy the fact that people will look at my body in an appreciative sense.

I like to taste: fresh raw fruits and vegetables, beautiful full lips against mine, kissing me passionately.
I like to feel: excited, unsure of what is coming next, the feeling of anticipation.
favourite part of my body: My eyes, they are clear and blue. Even on a bad day, they radiate happiness and I like that.
favourite part of someone else's body: Shoulders, collarbone and arms. Unsure why, but I love looking at these areas.
Why i shot myself: I wanted to build my confidence, I wanted to feel liberated and free and step into self acceptance.
