ARTISTS STATEMENT

I feel confident within myself, because although I feel beautiful (as should everyone), I know that there is so much more to a person than a body. Our bodies are simply vehicles that allow us to live life to the fullest. I am passionate about treating my body with respect and I value this in other people as well. I don't have any problems with being naked. Why should I? Feeling self-conscious about nudity is a reflection of the society we live in and this idea that we should not be comfortable within our own bodies. I dispute this, and think we should all embrace our beautiful nudity! I contributed to ISM as a fun way to show this confidence and encourage women to feel at peace with how they are and what they look like.
