ARTISTS STATEMENT
This project is an idea for me to take my industry out of my own mind and into the greater world. The connotations associated with massage and the therapeutic industry are so sexually related that I felt great disgust with some phone calls I received, and these emotions residing within I want to free up, make my being into its beautiful sensual personality, not an object that can be used for someone else's pleasure. My watery self, is so close to spirituality and yet pulled into the grounding of our materialistic needs. The balance is hard to find, and I guess this is represented in my photos, with nature/nurture being my internal struggle to find this resolve in my heart.
