ARTISTS STATEMENT
The first time I heard about Feck I was immediately drawn to it, I'd found the project for me. It was a while though before I mustered the courage and made contact. I've not always been comfortable in my own skin, sensuousness or sexuality, even less so in front of a camera. The reasons are manifold and mine! I definitely didn't want to pose 'lad magazine style' but a part of me always thought that getting naked & having some fun in front of a camera, or even sitting for a still life portrait, would be a laugh and a good way to break down these barriers. Turns out I was right and Feck was the answer to my prayers! One of the best thing I could have done for myself ever.

Why i shot myself: To connect with and celebrate my body and have fun and document this journey.
who I'd most like to see shoot themselves: Salma Hayek, she's confident with herself and that comes across to me more strongly than her obvious physical assets!
