ARTISTS STATEMENT

I was so excited when I found out what I Shot Myself was, I had heard about the project from a friend about 6 months ago but never quite got around to it. It's such an amazing thing to see yourself from every possible angle (well nearly every angle) and a great opportunity to celebrate bodies in all of their shapes, sizes and forms. My favorite part of this project is that I can actively participate in putting images of real girls who don't shave, who are having fun and clearly love the skin they're in.
