trevor says... Dear Sela, I grew up in the Midwest but since have lived in various places around the USA, New Zealand and Europe. I currently live in Rome (Italy not New York). Living in other countries does give one perspective but generalisations do not always hold true. Some very great writers have never left the place of their births. trevor says... As perhaps few viewers here might know, the State of Missouri's motto is "the Show Me State." Sela, you have certainly shown us--and how very lovely you are. Your naturalness, wholesomeness suggest sweet innocence and yet your piercingly, intense eyes tell us there is a story to be told or that will be told (you are still so very young). Missouri certainly has a great list of writers born within its borders or who have lived and experienced life there.
